Next stop on the Men’s WSL Championship Tour is Teahupo’o, Tahiti! Now famous for being one of the heaviest waves in the world, the WSL contest at Teahupo’o is both a test of bravery as well as surfing precision.
So what will this year have in store and who will win?
We’ve broken down who we think will come 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Next stop on the WSL championship tour is Jeffreys Bay, South Africa!
J-Bay is a mirror image of itself. It’s a place where one minute you’re on the best wave of your life and the next you’re fighting off a great white shark. The bay is lined with beachfront mansions and yet a short walk down the road leads to a township known as “The Location” where the poorest of the poor live in shacks cobbled together from scrap timber and corrugated iron.
Do you feel like your surfing has stagnated in recent times? One of the biggest barriers stopping surfers from improving is lack of mobility in the joints.
Perhaps sitting at that office desk has tightened your hips and lower back so much that it's stopping you from fulfilling your full surfing potential? If that’s the case, then perhaps it’s time to address your body’s overall mobility.
The Easter long weekend is coming up and you want to go surfing. The only dilemma is that you promised your girlfriend you’d take her on a romantic getaway which will likely include activities that don’t involve surfing and you’re afraid you’ll miss the Easter swell.
So now you have to choose between surfing or cuddles and you don’t know what to do…
Well, our answer to that question is, “why not do both?”
If you want to combine a relaxing couple’s holiday with pristine surf beaches, then look no further than Jervis Bay.
